Consultation
- Breast screening
- Counseling for women with significant family history of breast cancer or with known BRCA mutations.
- Evaluation and work up of women with abnormal mammograms, ultrasound and/or biopsy results
- Evaluation and work up of breast cancer symptoms including breast lump/s, nipple discharge, pain and breast feeding related infections.
Breast Procedures (in-clinic)
- Fine needle aspiration cysts and abscesses
- Ultrasound-guided Fine needle aspiration cytology of breast masses, lymph nodes
- Ultrasound-guided core biopsy of breast masses for diagnostic purposes
- Drainage of superficial abscesses
Breast Surgery
- Excision of breast lump.
- Hookwire-guided localization and excision of non-palpable breast lesions and microcalcifications
- Mammotome biopsy of non-palpable microcalcifications in cooperation with interventional radiologist.
- Microdochectomy for the diagnosis and treatment of abnormal nipple discharge
- Drainage of multiloculated or extensive breast abscesses
- Removal of accessory breasts
- Surgery for gynaecomastia
- Breast conservation surgery for breast cancer and large benign lumps
- Mastectomy for locally advanced, multicentric or inflammatory breast cancers
- Skin sparing mastectomy with immediate reconstruction (collaboration of breast surgeon and plastic surgeon)
- Sentinel lymph node biopsy for early breast cancer
